No one actually believed that a zombie apocalypse would actually happen. The Walking Dead is just so television show, right? Nope, it's pretty much my life now. Day after day I have to dodge attacks from walkers, or zombies. It's a hard life, but I make the most of it. I'm alone, except for my dog, ammo, and my shot gun. Everyday is the same. Wake up, scavenge for food, kill a few walkers, and move on to the next destination. I'm not really looking for anywhere in particular, just somewhere with food....and people. It's a lonely life, but I've sworn to make the most of it. I'm Daniela. I'm seventeen years old and wondering across America. My friends and family were all capture by walkers. It's hard getting by without them, but I manage. Losing them made me not care anymore. I just walk through abandoned towns and try to hunt down all those demons. I've never ran into a living person, and I've convinced myself I probably never will.

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day.
