Scarlett Armstrong had a good life. Parents who love her, even if she barely saw them, a younger brother who cared for her more than any guy could and not to mention, she's absolutely loaded and everyone knows it.

Evan Landon hasn't had the best life. He had a roof over his head, a little sister who he protect at any cost and a no good father who's involved with a gang. They're rich, but they can't say a word about it.

Scarlett's dad is a big-shot lawyer who took down one of Evan's father's gang members. In retaliation, they killed him and this move sent the Armstrong's into Witness protection because they were after their mother. Because of Evan's father committing the murder, they had to move away.

Coincidence strikes and both are moved into the same town, they start in the same school and both catch each other's eyes. He gains a bad reputation after getting into a fight, defending Scarlett and his sister, Ellie, and she gains unwanted attention when she arrives in the latest sports car and designer clothes.
