"What's happening?" As my mum looks at me then my dad, who is driving, then back at me she lets out a sigh "Something we don't know ourselves." She pauses and looks outside and points out the window, as we slow down behind a line of other cars I can see what she's pointing at, the people on the streets... Are they people? They seem to be hurt, some are limping some are bleeding some are making loud noises. My mum continues "All the police officer said was to stay safe." "And that this is an apocalypse." My dad quickly adds. I think of when I first saw the police dragging people out of their homes. Where can they be safe other than their home?
