When the Hyderon Expedition came to this galaxy, it was for scientific and historical discovery. What they didn’t intend on discovering was an enemy with one thing on its diet: humans. As a young geneticist, Kay had devoted her time in Hyderon to finding a way to protect all the people of the galaxy from these Ravagers, right until the day she found herself captured by one. Now hostage to the most dangerous predator a human can meet, she finds herself agreeing to help her sworn enemy when he offers an opportunity too good to pass up.
