A band. A bond to last a lifetime. The summer before their senior year, and Nick's freshman year of college, everything changes when Nick suddenly overdoses without warning. Now, the three of them are forced to rebuild themselves. Their loyalty to the band, themselves, and music is tested with the arrival of their new drummer as they all struggle with their own personal challenges. Will they be able to pull through? Will they be able to listen to their souls, themselves, without all the extra noise and pressure of the world around them? TW: This story contains mature themes, including: mentions of self-harm, suicide, non-sexual nudity, guilt, grief, loss, depression, alcoholism, neglect, body dysmorphia, smoking, Christianity, and underage drinking. This story is not intended to glorify these things in any way, it is meant to address these issues as the characters learn to navigate past them.
