Xevikan is supposed to rendezvous with his fellow usumgallu generals upon the death of Adarian Malachai. [CON Timeline, past (Illusion Chapter 3)]. But, during the summoning, something went wrong. Instead of arriving at the allocated location, he ended up on a different timeline and universe (DH, present). Yup, he indeed reached the newly ordained malachai's doorsteps, only, this is not the malachai he is supposed to meet and serve. You see, the guy who's in front of him now is not the teenage witty and smart-mouthed cajun, but the 24-year-old Dark Hunter Ambrose.

Now, its up to Nick and Xev to figure out what went wrong and why the timelines were messed up. They need to find a solution ASAP to return Xev to where he's supposed to be, as not to disrupt it further because time travelling is strictly prohibited to all preternatural creatures, and that includes, even the gods.All Rights Reserved
