A famous wizard scientist, Vunar Fegnus, died. Leaving his young apprentice in charge of the lab, the Apprentice starts creating genetic hybrids. Some of which are successfully created, while others are abominations.
Max is called by the 'Sevodric' guardians to either tame or destroy the creatures that are made. Being 'pro-life', Max tries to see the good in all of the creatures and tries every avenue to either tame, contain, or control the creatures. With many humorous adventures ahead because of the mischievous nature of the creatures, as well as some pretty serious because of the Apprentice will Max be able to save 'Sevodric' or will the creatures run rampant and force all of its' inhabitants to evacuate?
