Hadassah was orphaned as a young child and raised in poverty by her older cousin Mordecai, but great things were destined for her. Blessed with incomparable beauty and grace, she is snatched from her home and taken to the castle with hundreds of other girls. The king of Persia will choose one of them as his queen, and he chooses her. But Hadassah has a deadly secret, and she changes her name to Esther. She is Jewish, and the king's right hand man Haman hates the Jews, especially Mordecai ,so much that he gets the king to sign a decree that orders the death of all the Jews. The penalty of going before the king uninvited it death. Will Esther have the courage to speak up and save her people? (This is my own adaption of the story of Esther from the Bible, written ten years ago when I was about 14 or 15.)

In Abby's world, there is a magical power that each person has. Well almost everybody that is. Abby is one of the few people who don't have magical powers (but can still cast simple spells). So when it seems everyone is making her life harder than it already is, Abby can't take it and commits suicide. But The Fates won't allow her to leave the earth just yet. They bring her back to life for a second chance. When this happens, you cannot die by yourself or others, only when your time would have been up before may you die. Now Abby is back and has some new things up her sleeve. Will the people who bullied her still hate her, or will they have a change of heart? Find out in my first book to ever be published, "I'm Back... Did You Miss Me?"
