Promise me

"Promise me this"

"Promise that you will never leave me. Im scared of not being with you."

"Yes i promise you that. You...promise me that you will never leave my side. I don't know what i would do without you."

Those were the promises we made with each other. But you know what they say.

"Promises are meant to be broken."

But this is what i want to say.

"Promises can't be broken as long as you commit to it."

What if promises are really meant to be broken?

Will things be the same as it was before?
