Another year has come and gone, and the 412001st Annual Hunger Games shall commence shortly! That's right, four hundred  twelve thousand and one years later the Hunger Games are still going. Though there have been many rebellions in the past, the Capitol has always regained power and the Hunger Games have continued. Districts 12 and 13 have been rebuilt and continue to supply the capitol with the fruits of their labor. A new district has been born, District 14 and two tributes are also reaped from the capitol as a new rule created thousands of years ago. This year the tributes will fight harder than ever before in a brand new arena hand picked by the president. Look forward to blood, betrayal, and glorious battles. 30 will enter 1 will leave. It's been over a thousand years since Katniss Everdeen and the rebels took control of the Capitol. About a hundred years later after Katniss and Peeta lived long happy lives the Capitol once again took over. This time it was almost too easy, the war lasting a mere week, the twelve districts have been taken over once again, and District 13 gone forever. After a hundred years of peace the Hunger Games began again. One thousand years later the rebels still haven't bounced back. The districts remain as they were before the rebels took over. The tributes from Districts 1,2, and 4 still train to become champions while the other's battle starvation. Twenty Four will be reaped, 1 will come out. May the odds be EVER in your favour!

Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her.
