Dragon Pendant

Dragon Pendants are rare amulets that hold the soul and form of a dragon. Most people carry these pendants or sell them without knowing their true value or power. They are thought to be amulets of protection but few know how true that can be. The pendants only react to certain wearers. If the pendant has accepted a wearer it will change colors based on their moods and in certain circumstances if the wearer is in grave enough danger the dragon will come forth and protect the one who wears the pendant.

Shayael lost her home, family, friends, and childhood on the day she turned ten all in one fell swoop when her village was destroyed. Reme, a traveling warrior discovered her and took her in. They traveled together and during that time he tried to teach her that she should be happy that she should find happiness. So on her fifteenth birthday he gave her a pendant.
