Melanie Taylor is a tomboy. She loves skateboarding, basketball, and she hangs out with mostly guys. Melanie has one girlfriend Jasmine. Jasmine is a girly girl, nobody not even the girls can figure out how they became friends.

Melanie wins tickets to see Imagine Dragons with All Time Low and Coldplay. Melanie has to beg Jasmine to go along. When they get there Melanie runs into the towns bad boy Jake Evans.

When they keep seeing each other in school and they get assigned together for a project, they will see a lot of each other.
