"At first you believe, and then you start lying. Swallowing pain likes its shredded up glass. I'm bleeding inside, under a very black sky. Disappointment is cruel, but hope can be crueler. I've felt them both until I thought I could die. Now all my tears are dry, under a very black sky." In August of 1945, Kiku Honda, the personification of Japan, decides to have a vacation from the stress of his and America's rivalry that resulted in quite a few bombings. He arrives in Wakkanai on the fourth, hoping to spend a solid month in his get-away home by the shore. He does not expect, however, to find a Greek there, waiting for him. He was skeptical about having Greece there, but was quickly comforted by his usual enjoyment of the Greek's company. Little did either of these countries know, however, that in a few days, something would happen... Something he'd never forget... BOOM. [A GiriPan story] * * ON HOLD = Updates are slow. Don't expect huge schedule. Just writing whenever I feel like it. * *

"You know, my favorite color wasn't always red." Kirishima said to me while we sat outside on the fire escape. We were looking at the sunset. The sky was full of beautiful, bright reds and oranges. "What? Really? What was it? I asked out of curiosity, "It was actually silver at one point." "Silver? You don't seem like a silver kind of person." "Yeah. Silver. One day in middle school, I picked up something silver and tried to color with it. Every time I tried, it turned red. I eventually learned to love red more than anything in the world and wanted nothing more than to see it roll down my wrists." He said. It didn't take me long to realize what he was talking about.
