A young German boy named Rudolf is a well known Communist Idealist in High School, he is even part of the KPD (Kommunist Partei Deutschland / Communist Party Deutschland). The year is 1930, Germany is in the death lock between the Communist wave and the Nazi Brutes clashing within the Weimar. Young Rudolf is threatened with the possibility of his parent's death and of his own. Would he be for the Worker? Or would he be for the Führer?

Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. Germany is an excited and hardworking person who miraculously was accepted to one of the most prestigious universities. He expects the year to be dull but needed for his life. Both of them don't expect to become friends, and avoid eye contact.
