Lyra Jay Kellie has just had the second worst day of her entire life. It's right up there at the top of the list, just under her mothers death day. Her plane fell out of the sky in the middle of a storm and landed in the remote wilderness of the Montana Rockies. Her pilot is dead. Her satellite phone is worthless and she has no idea where she is. Lyra is utterly lost and alone.
