"I thought that you actually cared about me and loved me. Turns out you thought I was some type of fake? You thought of me as something to be investigated?"

"No. That's not what this was."

"Then what was it? Some type of social experiment? Is that all I am to you? A social experiment?"

"You know that you mean more to me than that."

"No, I don't know that. I don't know what I know anymore. The last couple months of my life have been a complete lie. It's people like you that are the reason that I don't trust anyone."

After senior year, William finds himself living across the hall in an apartment complex from a shy man named Alexander. When the two finally meet, they both realize that they're polar opposites. But it allows Alex's walls to slowly disappear. And that begins to allow the boys to become more than friends. Until one of them finds out news that questions everything about what they truly know about each other.
