Asuna's childhood fiance, Niahm Pirge appeared after he successfully conquer his fatal disease. More shocking that the young guy had the mirror image like kirito's deceased best friend Eugeo. Niahm's mother Sorah and Asuna's mother Kyouko insist the fix married between Niahm and Asuna should be happen, believing that it's the only way for Asuna to be save from the devastated future that awaits her if she choose Kirito to be her husband, added the fact that Sora's son Niahm, had a strong feelings for Asuna, even though Niahm doesn't want to force Asuna to marry him, respecting her decision.
