Thank you to "thosefreaksoverthere" for the beautiful cover. I was sexually abused by my father from the age of two until eight, when he went to jail. He served one year in the county jail. He continued to live a criminal lifestyle and had violated his probation, so he was getting ready to go back to jail again. He decided to committ suicide instead. Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy is my first ever poetry book. It has 3 parts (1. Them, 2. Him, 3. Her) "Them" is a compilation of poetries about my parents, my paternal grandma and my maternal grandpa, my librarian, and my childhood friend who became my bully in middle school. "Him" is a compilation of poetries about the guy who felt like home. "Her" is a compilation of poems about myself. The covers are edited by me on Canva, and the pictures are taken from Pinterest. Feel free to comment whatever you feel about the poems or share your story. Take your meds on time, stay hydrated, and eat something if you haven't already <333 -IamAnUncoolKid (ig: iamanuncoolkid)
