It’s not easy to survive in the slums.

Liam is an orphan, living with eight others in a dilapidated flat. Every day is a battle in the war to survive. As conditions worsen, and casualties rise, Liam begins to lose faith. He looks at the bums on the side of the streets with hate. They’ve given up the fight. They are weak. Their plight, the relief of giving up, calls to him more with each passing day, as panic grows within his chest. Racquel offers him hope, something good to live for, in a place where there seems nothing but dirt. But what form of survival is worth living for? And what is Liam willing to do to achieve it? What is he willing to become?

It is 172 years since the arrival of the red moon in the sky, and the breaking of the world that followed. Humanity has escaped the clutches of the scourge of beasts that came south after the colliding of continents. But the sequence of events set in motion since the arrival of the new moon, believed to be at an end by humanity, have only just begun.

The world has just begun to end.

When sudden news about her employer arrives, she just wants to save her employer from his execution, trying to shake off a newfound 'friend' who's not supposed to be on her side. But, now this disease is putting Blair at risk of becoming a beast too. She is met with an impossible decision. Turn herself in, or go rogue.
