When it Gets Hard to Breathe

One one thousand. Two one thousand. Three one thousand. In. Out. In. Out.
Eventually the pain will go away.

Four one thousand. Five one thousand. Six one thousand. Slow. The. Fuck. Down.
But it doesn't slow down. It never does.

Maybe someday I'll be able to breathe without suffocating on life.

Maybe someday life will be something other than shots of adrenaline. The heart pounding rise and the heart stopping fall.

That day obviously isn't today. Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

When did the sky that was once so bright and blue become a dark demented view? I look up to the sky and all I see is a chasm of deep blue and I'm falling...free falling into oblivion.
