A short story I wrote when I was fourteen.

About a girl who has voice in her head whispering mean thoughts that sparks doubt in her mind.

Extract from the story:

A day I will never forget is the day cruel and callous Tich stopped whispering in my ear and disappeared from my life. That was also the day withdrawn, cautious Joannie died and a self-confident, brave as a lion Joan was born. And it all happened on your typical school day; everyone sweating from the hot, blistering sun, every last one of us willing for the summer holidays to begin and Tich going on and on as per usual.

I close my eyes. I'm not going to die. I'm not going to die. Suddenly, I feel my stomach drop and my head start to spin. I try to scream, but nothing comes out. I try to breathe, but my mouth is dry. The sickening feeling continues for about a minute, then it stops. I open my eyes; I'm not dead... Yet.
