This is a Wattpad contest. It will be my first one but it will turn out great. PM me to join in, I'm excepting entries! The genre is sci-fi dystopian.  One simple mistake. One small mistake is all it took to start the end of the world. The virus is flying around like crazy and is deadly. Well, it doesn't really kill you, but some would prefer to die. Wherever the virus touches you gets infected and it spreads. Almost everyone has been infected. But there are a few people that are different. Their DNA changes the effects for them. Unfortunately, everyone else that has been infected and has the regular effects hates them and wants them gone. You are one of those people; your DNA is special. People are starving, and the whole economy is falling apart. Since the government needs a new way to get out of this terrible situation, they are finding new ways to make money. Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.

This Is Now (the last of us) by foresster

This is a fan fiction based on the last of us game the time line of the story takes place at the end of the game and different location (sorta). I'm also going to do that thing that the game did with the seasons,the whole game is technically a year. If you watch game play you'll know what I'm talking about. This story may contain very similar events to the game (because I not the best with my own ideas) so I want give as much credit to naughty dog and the story developers of the game and the creators or artists of the covers of most of the story parts and maybe music, because I don't own them and to be honest the game itself gave me some ideas, and inspired me to make this story. oh I'm not sure if this is a good Idea but the characters in the story are me and my friends but only first names I don't wanna give out last names if that is too much and by the way not all of the characters are my friends I made a couple of them up. Just wanted to put my self in the action. I'll probably make a sequel to this story so hope you like it. This is sort of a mature audience type of story, but there is not going to that much romance...well there is actually, but don't expect it to be all that this story has to offer. Plus the cover might be a little off since Wattpad covers isn't working with me right for some reason. The story is basically a large group of teenagers are trying to survive in a world that had been left in ruins for twenty years with violent zombified creatures and bandits,cannibales etc. PS this is my first book on Wattpad,so really hope you like. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.
