Four eighth graders are dead, but are they really gone? Seven doors to choose from with the instructions: "There are six doors here. You may walk into three. Your third door will be your last door. In that door is the room you will be staying in until the last person dies. In each of these rooms you will see how your death affects each person. For example, if you walk into the 'Family' door, you will watch your family living their lives without you. Same goes for the rest. Each of you may ask one question. Then you must walk into a door. When you walk into a room it is as if you have gone to the movie theater. You may sit and watch but you cannot see the other people you have gone in with. You can hear them but not see them. You can see yourself and the screen. Also, you can feel them. But only the ones you have gone in with. Do not disturb others if they wish not to be disturbed." Silence in the blinding room. "Now please, pick a door."
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
