2033. the world we knew has grown poor, weak and mad. Famine reigns across the oceans and overpopulation decimates the system. Canada and the USA have merged into one, pooling in their resoures to ensure the continuity of our species. alliances are made, but with alliances come battle lines, untimely sacrifices, and deadly ultimatums. On the brink of war and hell, several governments from feuding countries make 12 man made islands to sustain 50,000 people each. Shawn and Nick, relatively new strangers who live in a rundown California are selected amongst their group of friends to join a Military run academy set to train youth, use any force necessary. All not knowing the consequences and true intentions of their 'random selection' and all while hopelessly and inevitably falling for one another during the end of the modern world.
