Lily Evans enters her fifth year at Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She is considered the brightest witch of her age among witches, wizards, half-bloods, and all magical creatures alike. She studies like a Raven Claw, yet is as brave as a Gryffindor. She is looking forward to her fifth year at Hogwarts, while trying to avoid the arrogant, Gryffindor seeker, James Potter and his crew, and spending time with one of her closest friends, Severus Snape, reading under the Willow Tree and drinking Butter Beer.

However, not all will go as planned.

As her fifth year at Hogwarts begins, Lily will learn that all magic had a beginning, and may have it's end when an ancient evil wakes, and the halls of Hogwarts castle darken. Nights have grown longer, ghosts moan louder of old tales filled with monsters that roamed and sang of nightmares in the time of the House Founders, students go missing within castle grounds, only to never be found, and the towers of each house are stalked by an unknown threat. Not even the Headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbeldore, can subdue the evil that may fall on the young witches and wizards of Hogwarts as innocence will be ruined, and lives forever destroyed. Magic as old as Godric Gryffindor himself will wake once again for a battle that will soon to come.

In the midst of the mysteries and horrors, Lily Evans will face a darkness the world has never known, and become the only one to stop the bloodshed that comes ahead for them all. While her best friend, Severus slowly pulls away from their friendship with each and every passing day, the boy she hates, will become the boy she trusts as Lily, James, and all their friends come to face one horrible truth:
