"what's music, darling?" "honestly? i don't quite know." imagine waking up from a dream. a wonderful one about meeting your idols, and getting tickets to concerts, making friends at those concerts faster than you can say the band's name. of being sad but music picking you up off the ground. now that you think about it, it felt too real to be a dream. but it was. and when you woke up... music was no such thing. that's the situation alexandra miller is in. and when she meets eli nix, a boy who's been having these dreams, over tumblr, her whole life gets turned upside down. working together through the darkness, it's up to the oddly occurring duo who never would've met if it wasn't for music to delve within their respective dreams and find their purest sound.
