Romance
Flightless Bird (n.) A woman who, though superficially beautiful and independent, is romantically unfulfilled due to emotional tragedy. 17-year-old Savannah Pierce hasn't had what anyone would consider a good life. She comes from a broken home. With her father an alcoholic and her mother dead, she strives to make something of herself. But every time she tries, she fails. It doesn't take long for her to realize she needs a savior. Thats where Chase Sawyer comes in the picture. He's a new student at Oakland High with a mysterious, edgy attitude. Will he be the one to mend her or break her?

Farrah Wallace has it all, the money, the house, and the popularity but she doesn't want it. She wants to be normal, she likes her small group of friends. Sawyer Moore doesn't have much at all. His mother died when he was younger, his dad is rarely there, and he is the one who takes care of his little sister Lily. Farrah and Sawyer find each other one day on the beach, and a friendship blooms. Then something more happens. Farrah now has two different things to help her escape from her family and her life that she doesn't want. She can escape with Sawyer, and she can escape with music. *This story is sorta edited, but of course there will still be grammar and a few spelling mistakes. The story is not perfect.*
