Ash was perfectly normal. She had friends and a family. They all loved her very much, and she loved them back. She plays bass in a band, called Truth, a cover band that ranges from punk to indie music covers. Her and her band enter a game show and get through, and eventually win. They get a record deal, but aren't well known. All band members but her, live in LA while she lives in Canada. She has no way of getting home, and her band mates have no room at their places for her to stay. And the hotels are too much money. What could she do. 

She remembers knowing that the Game Grumps were voting for her band, and tweeting her during the show. She meets one of them and they have enough room for her there.
