Feeling like shit and needing drugs I decided to write the truth of how I met Katie Lewis, NOT Kate Moss as the speculation goes. The books of Albion tell you of my turmoil in life but I'm here to tell you the truth of how shit life was without the Libertines and how I coped (or not so much) with it all. This is the truth of my yearly demise. You can read my diaries of how my relationship with Katie turned out, not how those Goddam Tabloids tell it. All the best, Pete. #5 in alcohol 24/01/20

Amanda Carlson met Duff McKagan when she was 17. She fell in love with the tall blonde bassist from Guns N Roses at a concert GNR performed at the Troubadour. She felt that she found true love in Duff. He was not like any guy she had ever dated before. He was wild, charismatic, and sweet. For Duff, Amanda was the girl that he never thought he would find. She was not a groupie like the other girls he dated before. She was genuine, sweet, kind, and beautiful. It seemed like nothing could go wrong for the two of them. Guns N Roses were finally getting noticed with their debut album Appetite for Destruction and Amanda found her soulmate in Duff. Despite the success of Guns N Roses, Duff was finding it difficult to handle fame. He turned to drugs and alcohol so he could cope. He became addicted and Amanda could see how he was destroying himself. Promises were made and eventually those promises were broken about overcoming his addiction. Duff was fighting a losing battle with his addiction and Amanda was not planning to stick around and pick up the pieces. 3 years later, Amanda has declared that she is done with relationships. She doesn't need the emotional baggage that comes with being in a relationship and she feels that she's better off alone. That changes one night when she is sitting by herself in a nightclub and she catches the eye of Jordan Knight from New Kids On The Block. Can Jordan convince Amanda that love is possible and that not all guys are like Duff McKagan or will Amanda's pessimism about love rule her heart?
