Idols undergo a series of processes to become a "perfect idol". Companies want talent and beauty. However, it's rare for an "ordinary human" to keep their beauty for over a long period of time such as our human life span. That's why companies inject a special kind of liquid into their bodies. To maintain their looks, they become vampires. Idols are fed with blood tablets in secret and daily.

In addition to that, some idols would rather feast on human blood. When that happens, squads are sent out to patrol and take care of these vampires. They are given special types of guns to injure, or even kill a vampire.

Vampires like certain blood types, which makes it quite difficult for V. Investigators to kill and track them down. The squad Investigators do not work for the idols companies, but under the police's commands.
