Amy and her family go on a trip way north to the mountains for the summer, where you can barely use anything that deals with cell signal or wifi. So far it's a boring trip until her walks into the woods lead her to find a small village of people who seem to carry guns. She wonders why they all carry them as their only reply is a warning to the howls during the full moons at night, but mostly any time she hears something similar to a wolf outside the cabin. This family trip just got a whole lot more interesting, as she tries to figure out whats going on and tries keep her family safe, or will she also find something a whole lot more shocking?

Shadow isn't too happy with the situation, and learns to cope as he journeys with the two- encountering other characters and monsters as they search for a way to break their curse.
