--- Nathan, or Nate as everyone called him, had a girlfriend. On the surface, everything seemed perfect. But beneath that façade, his heart was restless, drawn elsewhere-toward someone else. It was his best friend, Steve. Steve, with his smooth caramel skin and thick black hair that effortlessly fell into place as he walked, had captivated Nate in ways he couldn't quite explain. There was an unspoken connection, a magnetic pull. Yet, no matter how strongly Nate felt, he couldn't allow himself to fully embrace those emotions. It wasn't just the expectations of society weighing on him, though. His parents, devout Christians, had always made it clear that certain desires were forbidden. They had even nudged him into his current relationship, subtly forcing him to conform. His girlfriend, though kind, was another reminder of the life he was supposed to lead, the one that didn't include Steve. And so, Nate remained torn-trapped between his heart's truth, the expectations of the world around him and his desire not to hurt anyone, had to force all emotions down. But nither Steve nor Nathen can contain there feelings, and when it come out; they have to face the music together or alone. A story of betrayal, love and everything in between. ---
