Something emotional I wrote to begin work on a Sonic/Highlander AU where Tails' adoptive mother is an immortal. It's based on the forgone conclusion that she would inevitability outlive him and all his friends, and thus is a short monologue from her as she says goodbye and reflects on their time spent together one last time.

Sonaze: One Secret
This was a Deviantart project that I developed almost 8 years ago. I'm 23 now, but Jesus Christ...I gave this a bit of an ambitious rewrite with a couple of add-ons and a few dialogue changes that fit my current writing abilities. Luna the Fox has had a hard life. After her step-dad kills her mother in front of her, she is forced to live with him in his evil base for nearly ten years. She knows she doesn't belong there, yet she doesn't know if she would be able to leave. Until one day, when she gets the courage to leave her only home. Along the way she meets friends, who try and help her become happy. But she feels as though her step-dad watches her every move. Luna knows that her step-dad would be after her soon, and she doesn't want to hurt her friends. Even if it means hurting herself in the process. Luna is going to have to Breakaway from the pain, she'll take risks, she'll have to take a few chances, all to make a change. (oh! And this is based of by Kelly Clarkson's song "Breakaway".
