It seemed like a perfectly normal bus ride. No one could predict what would happen next.
Celia is a perfectly average fourteen year old girl whose everyday bus ride takes a turn for the worse when the bus was stopped and five men with guns walked on. Taken hostage and terrified, she and her friends will face horrors that no one should ever have to see, and could possibly destroy their lives forever.
This is purely fiction. I am sure something like this has happened, but the events in the book have not.

He demanded as I stuttered out a quiet yes. I studied him cautiously as he walked towards the far end of the room, shuffling through drawers before stalking back towards me and crouching down. I sucked in a breath as I saw the knife in his hand, his face held a mischievous grin as it glinted in the light. In the 1930s, in a highschool called Ashford Academy. A journalist by the name Esther Charlene shares her experiences at the school. Esther was an interesting one. She always hated school, until sudden mysterious death's happened in the school. She never made a lot of friends, since she wasn't a fan of the friendship thing. Later on she befriends a girl named Heather Marlene. As Esther's friendship grows, what will it grow to? What is Heather Marlene to Esther? To continue, There was a girl whose nose never stopped bleeding. Rumors always filled the school, like a virus. Nobody knows who the girl really is. Esther calls her ' sakodo' but she was given the name slit-faced girl by the people who saw her. But those people that feared or saw her died the next day. Why do people die the same? How do people die? Most importantly, what killed them? One day the girl suddenly disappears. Nobody knows where. A few days after she disappeared, all that was left of her was forgotten. Nobody knew who she was. All traces of her were gone. What really happened to that girl? What was her name? Where did she disappear to? What was the girl's backstory? As the story unfolds. The truths are exposed. Nobody knows. Not even you. (Some chapters may be short so I apologize! ((Completed)) I stay on the floor. I sit staring at the bedroom door for hours, seething with anger at myself. The more I think the angrier I get. I know anger won't get me anywhere, especially here, except maybe dead. Still, I sit enraged. The whole house is silent. It's probaby the most quiet it's ever been. Normally it would soothe me, but the fact I had been sitting here almost all day now turned the quiet afternoon silence into fuel for my fire. I look over at Jade who had barely moved at all. I wish I could protect her. She came back for me even though I told her not to. There's not realy anything I can do though. Maybe I could make some kind of deal? No. That's what got us here in the first place. Then again it really can't get much worse. I have to try something or else I don't know what will happen to her. I mean she's the toughest person I know. Everyone has a breaking point and I don't want to see her get to that place. I'm already the worst friend ever, all I do is make things worse. I stare at the wall and pace the room for a few more hours. When's he getting back? I need to get out of this room and talk to him. ----- Sheri and her bestfriend, Jade, find themselves kidnapped by a sociopathic sadist named Todd during a road trip to Minnesota.
