"Nature is the true beauty of the world, Sarah. Never forget that. This, all of this happiness around us, was made in a factory. Synthetic. Counterfeit. Ersatz. True joy is held in nature, or what nature we have left. In the brilliant, if somewhat tainted sky. The Sketchbook of God. The trees and grass that live in the dirt, the fruit of the crop that we sow and reap. The goodness inside of you and me, and some of the people around us. Never forget."
It was all he could do; that never forgetting thing. However, it wasn't enough to escape being caught by the ubiquitous train of society that swallows whole or in pieces any who dare oppose it's onward progression.
