The house next door goes up for sale, the dreaded day arrives in which its been sold and now the only thing left is to find out whose moving in. "Good news hunny the new neighbours are moving in today and I've invited them around for dinner" my mum said excitedly. "And I'm supposed to be excited because...." if my tone doesn't give it away, I'm not excited for new neighbours, my best friend lived in that house but after a tragic accident that took her life her parents decided to up and sell. "I appreciate that its hard but the Hunts are a lovely family and they have children one is slightly older than you and the other is a few months younger, and I suggest you play nice" my mum warned. "Are you joking me mum! no matter who moves in next door nothing will change, Lily is dead and no matter how friendly you are to the Hunts they will never replace Lily!" I shouted getting more and more angry as I vented. A thumb swiftly wiped the tear from my cheek that I hadn't even realised had fell, it was my dad. "Oh baby girl don't cry, it will all be okay, we don't want you to replace Lily but we do want you to be civil at least because what happened was not your fault or the Hunts okay" my dad cooed as he soothed me and sent me upstairs to get ready for the welcoming dinner.Concluida

As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face. I didn't want to lose him......ever. My dad Kevin who always is there by my side needed me there for him I glance at him and smile and he kisses my cheek. He whispers "Everything...will be alright."
