For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. It's funny how something can go from so perfect to so wrong in just a blink of an eye. Everything you once held close to your heart is now gone forever. Then once it's gone all you are left with is questions; What could I have done to prevent this? What did I do wrong? Did my significant other love me at all? And no matter how bad you push the questions out of your mind they always seem to come back up, and at the worst times too.
