    I used to find it funny how books happened; how the main character was always on the verge of death; how their family was in grave danger no matter how they dealt with the supervillain. It all seemed like good fun, to me.
    
    What I wasn't expecting was to wake up in some weird game where you can choose your life. There were pros and cons to each of them, but the cons made the pros look like eggs next to elephants.
    
    The pros were there, if you were an optimist, at least that's what they said. I'm an optimist, but it's hard to find the pros unless you squint. 
    
    For whatever reason, I chose the hero life and now I think I see why book characters hate their life so much. Because if I fail to save this virtual world, everyone I know, or met, in real life, dies. I guess I don't have much of a choice but to save the world.All Rights Reserved
