In a world where genetic engineering has blurred the line between humanity and the animal kingdom, Enjouji Touhou is one of the five i-jinns, a group of women with extraordinary abilities tied to the soul essence of animals. Enjouji possesses the unique power to control and manipulate paper in any form, a skill that makes her both feared and revered.

However, Enjouji's life is a mystery even to herself. Her memories of the other i-jinns-women who share her origins and once fought alongside her-have been wiped clean. She has no recollection of the bond they shared or the battles they faced together. The only constant in her life is her mother, Mei Touhou, a cold and enigmatic woman who seems to be hiding something.

As Enjouji embarks on a journey to rediscover who she is, strange and unsettling visions begin to haunt her, leading her to question everything she knows. The more she uncovers, the more she realizes that Mei has played a significant role in erasing her past.
