Transcendent Thirst
"What I was going to say was selfish..." He mumbled. I edge closer to him until my hand slowly cradled his cheek. Tilting his head up to look at me. "Please let me know what it was." I beg him pathetically. He begins to chew his lip and that's when I knew he was nervous. Nervous about what? I'm not exactly sure. "With everything I said...I was going to say at the same time...never...leave me." He confessed painfully almost. That's when I lost all sense of control and pressed my lips onto his. Kissing him with all my strength and all the built up desire that's accumulated. I continued to kiss him until at some point my tongue made it's way into his mouth. Tasting a sweet flavor that I've never encountered. As I got deeper in the kissing I feel myself fly back into a tree. Slammed against it that I felt myself lose my breath. Trying to catch it, I look up at Achille. His eyes were now a crimson red that intrigued me. He shook his head and suddenly he was gone in a blur. Confused, I stood as I had to pop my back from the hard hit into the tree. Looking in the direction Achille ran off, I knew I couldn't see him because it'd be a blur. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...Complete

I look up at Todd's window and grimace when I see him gently pushing Jennifer into his room. So that's where he went. My stomach clenches painfully as I watch him pull her in for a slow kiss and I quickly drop to the floor when he suddenly breaks off the kiss and looks directly at me. The last thing I need is for him to think that I'm being a creeper and spying on him. I hold my breath for a few seconds before cautiously peering over the edge of the window, looking into his room. My mouth goes dry as I watch him peel off his shirt and throw it onto the floor behind him. I didn't realize he was so buff. I knew he was athletic, but I didn't expect him to have a six pack. Licking my dry lips, I watch in envy as Jennifer says something to him, making the muscles in his stomach contract and release as he laughed with her. I shake my head. She has no idea how lucky she is. I'd kill to be her right now. I mean, Todd's attitude leaves a lot to be desired, but that doesn't stop him from being the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. It must be the contrast between his dark hair, tanned skin and bright blue eyes. And those muscles. Wow. I suppose his attitude could be fixed. Definitely. It's a little magic trick called duct tape. The room was pitch black but I could still see his handsome face. And even if I were put in a crowd and blindfolded, I would still be able to find him. His musky scent wafted across the bed to my nose. My favorite scent in the world. His eyes were on my face and I stared back. It felt like we were communicating with our eyes. Mine was saying "why won't you love me back?" and I was sure that his was saying "why is this dork staring at me?". At the sad thought I closed my eyes and took solace in the silence in the room, calming my raging emotions and fighting the threatening tears. I was half successful when I heard his deep voice. My eyes fluttered open at once as if they had been waiting for him to speak. "I'm sorry for what I said about you earlier" "It's fine" I managed to croak "I was scared and confused but not anymore" I did not understand what he meant. I looked at his face at the other side of the bed trying to decipher what he was trying to say but his face was blank. "Goodnight Marco" he said and closed his eyes. I lay in the same position, looking at the now sleeping figure. I was confused and curious. What do you mean by not anymore? I asked in my mind as if he could somehow hear me. But he couldn't. And I wasn't brave enough to ask. Afraid that my heart would be shattered again by the same person I had fallen madly in love with. The only person my soul longed for. The only person my body lusted for. I lay in that position, watching him sleep till my eyes gave up and closed on their own. ****************************************************** VOTE

hello ! technically this would be my second book, had i not deleted the first one out of sheer embarrassment. wrote this while struggling in high school and reading a lot of nicholas sparks so that is probably why it is the way it is. i had put in a lot of effort in this back in the day so it deserves to stay up on my profile. this story is about a teenage girl who goes through her day to day struggles and pens them down as letters written to you. hope you find a friend in her along this journey. happy reading !Complete
