Sam and Kaleigh have been best friends for forever. Sam has always had trouble at home with her parents. Her dad is in jail and her mom is in a different country and hasnt been seen for over a month. Sam has been secretly staying with Kaleigh in her humongous house. Her parents are unaware of their every night sleepover. Sam's phone is a piece of crap and she doesn't have the money to buy a new one. Kaleigh lends her her phone and a boy named Dylan texts her. Not remembering she has Kaleighs phone, she texts him back finding she has a crush on the schools biggest jerk. Sam and Kaleigh's friendships starts going downhill after Kaleigh finds out.
