((Trigger warning: this may be triggering for someone who has/struggles with an eating disorder, drug abuse, physical abuse, bullying, depression and/or other illnesses))

This is a story about Charlottes journey and everyday struggles.
Charlotte is 16, and she lifes in the UK, with her parents, her 9 year old sister and her 13 year old brother. Charlotte has never been the popular kid around town. No one ever really noticed her, and whenever someone did, all they'd do was to point out her flaws and make fun of her. She was the chubby kid growing up. She'd always get told what to eat, what not to eat, how fat she was, that she should lose some weight etc. And so she did. Not because of what they said, but because she agreed, it was time for a change.. 3 years ago she started losing weight. Only a few pounds at first, but then as time went by she dropped more and more, faster and faster. She developed an eating disorder at the age of 14 and when her closest family members started to notice, she was forced into treatment. About a year later, in and out of hospitals, she was declared healthy, whatever that meant, and was sent home. She got better, at least that's what they all think.
Lately a lot of memories has been brought up from her past, and she's now far more unstable than ever. No one knows, and Charlotte's pretty sure no one would care. No one is trustworthy these days, she learned that the hard way.
Even though she's basically all alone, she fights to get better. She doesn't know why, "what's the point, right?". She's looking for answers. And it sure as hell ain't easy getting there.
