A Masked Secret

As a master of illusion, Luna fears there is danger of her powers being used against her will. She must run. She knows that she will leave her kingdom behind—soon to be hers, anyway—and everyone she’s ever loved. She must run despite the costs that plague her. She finds herself in a country she never knew about, and she thinks that perhaps she could find a place there. The possibly hostile queen of this land and her mysterious Hand without a Name both do little to deter her efforts to fit in despite their intimidation. Nothing is as it seems for Luna, who used to be able to see past all illusion. What she finds in this country will likely be the most surprising thing of all.
