Unravelling
Lily is happy with her life. She has a unique family that she can rely on as well as four great friends who support her - and vice versa. She doesn't mind school, loves to play soccer in her spare time and cannot say no to sweets. For as long as she can remember, it has always been just her and her brothers. There are no parents in the picture. The 12-year-old has never bothered to find out what actually happened to them and she has never even met them. Her oldest brother is her and the other minors' guardian. This is how it has always been, and Lily likes it that way. However, something seems to be changing. Three of her brothers suddenly move back home, or at least make plans to do so. The older ones start to act secretive and they appear more preoccupied than usual. Certain things don't add up anymore. Lily's curiosity is piqued. What is going on with her family? What are her oldest brothers hiding from her? Have they been lying to her? Who are her parents? And where are they? Join Lily on a journey that will turn her life upside down and that will put everything into a new perspective, as things slowly start to unravel.

"You're such a fucking slut. Get changed." He demanded. I could tell he was daring me to disobey by his stern glare. "No dad." I attempted to walk past him to go back to the party before he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, walking us to his car. I screamed and kicked for him to let me down but he held on even tighter until aggressively slamming me into the passenger seat. Before he went to shut the door and go to the drivers side of the car he crouched down and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "If you get out of this car I'll get Luke out here so we can beat you up till you're bloody." He threatened, proceeding to slam the door shut. My ass was glued to that seat. -------- Lily is like any other 16 year old girl, horny and tired. She's tired of constantly being bullied by her brother and his best friend, Ethan. She's dealt with it her entire life, but something begins to change between her and Ethan. What felt like hate soon became lust. He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. Will their relationship actually work or will they both end up with their heads blown off? ------- Mature content⚠️ - mentions and some SA - cursing - abuse - depression and suicidal thoughts This is kinda dark romance. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.

She develops Stockholm's syndrome, but some part of her still knows that it is wrong. Red protects the other girls - victims of the cult, who subsequently hate her, thinking she is just another one of their tormentors. Until one day something goes wrong, and with Red's subtle prompting, the police find out about the abhorrent acts being done in the name of religion. And that's when things really get interesting... Forced to pretend to be normal in a world as strange to her as fluorescent converse, Red must rely on her inner voices to determine what is right or wrong. But how can one be in balance in the world when she is told that everything she has ever known or been a part of was an act against God? What is there left for a young serial killer to believe in, if not the blood of sacrifice?

Caroline loves her new friend Lily. They do almost everything together. But as time goes on, it becomes more and more apparent that Lily is not everything she seems to be. Where did Lily come from, what is she hiding, and what's the real reason for their intense friendship? For those of you who are already familiar with my writing, I should let you know that this short story is nothing like anything else I've written. I wrote it as a birthday gift for a ten-year-old girl. She devoured the whole thing in couple of hours and when she finished, she told me she loved it. This ten-year-old girl is very girly, she likes unicorns and rainbows and magical worlds, but she also likes Sci-Fi and scary, threatening bad guys. As a result, the genre of this book is quite niche, and it may not be appropriate for every ten-year-old. There are some confrontations I would categorise as "mild peril." Spoiler Alert: If you're a parent looking for something for a child of a similar age, there are two deaths in this book and so you may want to check it out first because I recognise every child is different. (The girl I wrote is for said they weren't graphic deaths, and she was fine with both in the context of the story.) Anyway, she asked me to put it out there for others to enjoy, so ... enjoy.

Lily, a five year old child loses her parents in a horrible accident. Afterwords she is forced to live with her Grandmother who works all the time and has no time for a child. Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.
