Maria's mother is dead from a fatal car accident and her father doesn't even remember her or her little brother. At this realization Maria takes off and runs away. She's made it 2 years all on her own but the kind hearted, lovable girl is gone instead she is replaced with the new Maria. The dark,hateful, and most of all no love for anyone or anything. 
She has experienced so much she can't trust anybody anymore. Maria gets a call from her fathers best friend and tells her that she needs to come back home because her brother Kye is spinning out of control - and that she has to start living with them but not just him, him and his 6 boys!
