I watched my parents burn right before my eyes.

We had been attacked by a band of rogues. Not a pack. I could never consider those vicious monsters-to be a pack.

    “My name is Alana Red Crescent. These are my siblings Jeremy and Adele. That’s Ty-he’s from our pack. Our pack was wiped out years ago-by vicious rogues that we’ve only recently learnt were sent by an even more, vicious pack. We’re not sure who they are-just that they’ve been after my parents for some time-and by extension me. They killed my parents-and Ty’s.

   We’re the only survivors. They want to kill us-but we don’t know why. It’s hard to live normally. A few packs have taken us in over the years-schooled us, fed us…but we couldn’t stay long…for fear of them finding us and putting our hosts in danger. You have to believe us-please. When we found this land, we had no idea it belonged to someone. We’ve only been here for a few weeks. We-we had to survive. Ty was just doing the best he could.” I pleaded, feeling tears burst in my eyelids.
