"Are you ready, Tyler?"
There was a slight hesitation. My mouth was dry and my palms were sweaty. The room was fuzzy and I felt dizzy. The world began spinning and I starting losing my balance, even though I was in a chair. I blinked a couple times before building up the courage to pick up my head and look dead in the eyes of my therapist and mouth the word "yes".
She nodded at me. "Please state your name, age, and reason for taking sessions with me."
I didn't notice how bad I was shaking until she asked me that. The reason for taking sessions was a thing that I never wanted to say out loud, but at this moment, I had too.
"My name is Tyler Westly, Im 21 years old... and I am scared for my life."
