The Autobot squad sent by Optimus was on their way there (by the Xygonian queen's request) when they were shot down. But the queen felt like they abandoned them. Electra's father was raising an army against the queen. So when Electra asked if they can join the Autobots, the queen refused. Electra's choice of weapon/fighting style: Mostly martial arts and anything she gets her hands on. Later acquired the Star Saber after Optimus dies. Electra's technical ability: Has a electromagnetic converter behind her spark, copper wiring connects to her electromagnetic levitators locating in her hands and feet which gives her electromagnetic abilities similar to Storm and Magneto. Also earned the name Electra Magneta. I'm Catrina Marie Gable. If you are reading this, I'm dying. Had seizures. I've been getting chest pains and it's been getting worse. It's ok really.
