I leaned against a bookshelf, letting silent tears fall down my cheeks. I heard quiet footsteps make their way towards me.

"I hate seeing you like this." Joshua raised his tone, "Why can't you forget him?!" He reached his hand out. I only moved away from him.

"I'm trying Joshua! I've tried so many times. I've tried looking at other guys... It's just not working." I choked out a sob and slowly started falling to the floor. I put my knees up against my chest as I put my head down.
