How do you save someone who doesn't want to be saved?

Grace is a bubbly, innocent 13 year old who believes she's desperately in love with childhood friend, Connor. But Connor is 3 years older than Grace and is determined not to take advantage of her so he shuts her out and due to family issues, Grace moves away.

A year later Grace returns but she's not the same bubbly girl that Connor remembers. Grace has changed. Her flowing auburn hair scolded black and her body decorated with piercings. Its not only her image that differs, her year away has left her cold, bitter and heavily reliant on alcohol.

Connor, now a growing into a man, can't help but keep his eyes off his old friend. She seems so much more grown up, yet so lost and vulnerable. When Grace starts attracting some unwanted attention at a club, Connor can't help but intervene. But the more time Connor spends with Grace, the more he realises the dark hole she has fell into and he feels more than ever that it's his responsibility to pull her out, before its too late.
